Bio/Approach:

Danielle (Dani) earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Weber State University and her Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University, completing her clinical hours to obtain her LCSW license.
In her private practice at The HELP Clinic, Dani provides therapy for youth and families. She is also a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) therapist and works as a Mental Health Specialist in the Weber School District. There, she serves both elementary and junior high students, focusing on mental health therapy and coping strategies to support academic and social success. She coordinates treatment with families, school staff, and outside agencies to create holistic, individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
Previously, Dani worked as a school-based therapist at Weber Human Services, where she provided diagnoses and therapy using Motivational Interviewing and TF-CBT. She also has six years of experience as a Resident Advocate and Director of Social Services in skilled nursing facilities. Her practicum experiences include work with Adult Protective Services and Northern Utah Counseling, where she served behaviorally complex children, adults, couples, and groups.
Outside of work, Dani enjoys spending time outdoors (as long as it’s warm), practicing yoga, traveling, and trying new experiences.
