Bio/Approach:

Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University. As a Certified Social Worker and U.S. military veteran, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, particularly in supporting service members and military families. She provides therapy to adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, and military-related experiences.
Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, incorporating evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, and other practical coping strategies. Cynthia has a special passion for supporting parents, caregivers, adolescents, veterans, active-duty service members, and military families.
